2. Store Location & Permissions
To coordinate deliveries, assign correct logistics agents, and allow buyers to search and compare products from nearby verified suppliers, the Vendor Portal and the Vendor Mobile App request location permissions:
- Registration Store Coordinates: During registration, we request foreground location permission to capture the precise physical GPS coordinates of your shop, fulfillment center, or warehouse. This guarantees that delivery agents and dispatchers get correct routing options.
- Vendor Online Status Location: When updating your status to online or toggling availability for immediate dispatch in the vendor status display dashboard, we verify your foreground location. This ensures order pickup routes are assigned only to ready, active fulfillment locations.
Providing location coordinates is necessary to verify and list your physical fulfillment store on the MTWO marketplace.
3. Business & Verification Information We Collect
To comply with regional laws, marketplace regulations, and safety standards, we collect:
- Legal Entity details: Business/Company name, registration numbers (GST number, etc.), and digital signatures.
- Verification Documents: Uploaded GST registration certificates, identification records, and proof of address.
- Contact Details: Representative name, email address, alternative phone numbers, and designation.
- Financial Information: Bank account numbers, IFSC codes, and payment details for processing payouts and commissions.
4. How We Use Vendor Information
We use the gathered information to:
- Process vendor onboarding applications and verify business integrity (GST status).
- Display your store details and catalogue items on the client-facing marketplace (mtwo.in).
- Optimize pickup dispatching coordinates for logistics and delivery agents.
- Calculate, execute, and verify commission settlement amounts, payouts, and credit cycles.
- Send system updates, notification of quotation requests, orders, disputes, and compliance notices.
5. Vendor Data Security
Vendor documents, GST certificates, and financial details are highly sensitive. We protect these using strict access controls, isolated secure object storage (AWS S3 with signed URLs), and encrypted database storage.
